Good Food In Paris, France

Every time anyone talks to me about their trip to Paris, they always say something along the lines of “the food was not good” which always shocks me because I had some pretty good food in Paris. I decided to compile a list of everywhere I ate during my very short (2.5 days) visit. There is no order to my list.

Gran Caffè ConViVium. This place was so good we went twice in our 2.5 day stay.

Restaurant Blossom. This was inside our hotel at the Sofitel le Faubourg. We also ate here twice, breakfast and lunch. Their OJ is delicious.

François Felix. Just two doors down from our hotel, I don’t exactly remember the food, but I do know it couldn’t have been terrible because we didn’t experience a single terrible meal in Paris.

Maison Georges Larnicol. This isn’t a restaurant, but it is a fudge store and everything we got was sooo good!

Angelina. I would say this is more hype, but still was good. The hot chocolate was so THICK that we had to ask for ice to water it down. It was like drinking a chocolate bar. One order of hot chocolate can easily be shared by a minimum of 3 people. We had gotten two orders of the hot chocolate, per the waitresses suggestion and we literally had so much left over. It felt very wasteful. The pastries we got were great.

There as one restaurant that we went to, I can not remember the name of it, but it was in a super touristy area. It was the only meal we felt was alright, like it was food, nothing to brag about, but it wasn’t terrible. The thing that threw me off the most was the lemonade was water with a side of lemons and sugar served with it. So just a warning for anyone wanting to order lemonade while in Paris. Oh that reminds me, they don’t believe in cold water in France. You have to specifically ask for ice with your water.
